KRA Renewables Shortlisted for PwC Business Post Sustainable Business Awards

KRA Renewables has been shortlisted for the PwC Business Post Sustainable Business Awards 2023. This recognition marks another significant milestone for the company, which was founded with a strong commitment to driving sustainability in the built environment.

The PwC Business Post Sustainable Business Awards recognise excellence in sustainable business practice across the island of Ireland. This year, a record 130 entries were received from over 100 businesses active in Ireland, and KRA Renewables is proud to have been shortlisted for the Sustainable Small Business Of The Year category alongside some impressive contenders.

KRA Renewables offers services designed to support built environment, community and utility energy projects by helping to implement upgrades such as the feasibility, design, procurement, project management, and monitoring & verification of energy efficiency measures and renewable energy installations to their buildings and property portfolios.

Beyond its commitment to sustainability in its work, KRA Renewables has also demonstrated its commitment to sustainability in its daily operations. They have implemented an ISO 14001 environmental management system and are certified in ISO 9001 and ISO 45001. KRA conducts energy audits of their facilities, upskills employees in all aspects of sustainability best practices, and is implementing a thorough ESG plan for their business. They also volunteer time for professional organisations focused on sustainability.

The winners of the PwC Business Post Sustainable Business Awards 2023 will be announced at a ceremony at The InterContinental Hotel, Dublin, on Wednesday, 24th May.
